Thunderstorms made the water rise and so we saw the first ridable conditions this year. So much fun, even working without the rope as soon as you're pulled in. The boys were ripping and showed off with nice cutbacks and 360s. Hopefully the water is still rising the next couple days and we'll get even better conditions. We'll see, I'll keep the gallery updated! I also put on a small vid of Stefan trying a 360...

Epic day in Southern California. HIGH surf! Wednesday (11.) even windy for 4.5! Biggest South swell for years. check out surfline with incredible pictures from Newport Beach.

Due to a horrible winter in Europe and my foot injury, which still keeps me off windsurfing, I'm exploring some surf and windsurf spots along the US West Coast, starting in San Diego, all the way up to Santa Cruz... A short spotguide in the travel's section will be followed shortly.

Unfortunately I have to take a break from windsurfing at the moment due to some medical issues (Mauritian sea urchins are EVIL), but it did give me enough time to cut the best shots from my trip to Mauritius this year; featuring lagoon freestyle and One Eye action! Hey everyone!! University is closed for the summer and I'm flying to Mauritius to play in the Southern winter. The last days promised huge conditions with big waves and perfect wind. Tom Hartmann and Dani Bikich will be with me and I'm sure we will come up with lots of photo and video material. I will try to keep the page updated showing what the conditions are like!!

| 1.2.-26.4. Back from Maui/New Page Design |
Maui saw some bad winds this spring as March was rainy almost every day with no wind for three weeks. Nevertheless the surf was good and so there's always something to do. February was a decent mixture of wind and waves as I heard (spending my time in San Diego) and April was again super windy with nice weather but small waves.
As soon as I came back I was working on a new page design, so I hope everyone likes it. As always it will be constantly changing with some minor design features... |

| 15.1. The PWA London Indoor Champs |
The London Boat Show saw the first competition of the year, an indoor with freestyle, slalom and jump. The best sailors in the world showed up in London from the 10th to the 15th of JAN. My first time in the pool was harder than I thought as the conditions were extremely difficult and totally new for me. An awesome experience though and I can't wait to come back next year!
